Tuesday's TV Ratings: 'Talent' versus Basketball

Tuesday's ratings show a clear rating between 'talent' and basketball, although the two don't necessarily rule each other out.

America's Got Talent, currently in its auditions phase, attracted 11.45 million viewers between 8 and 10pm. A re-run of NCIS on CBS did well at 7.90 million.

The NBA finals played a big role on Tuesday. Jimmy Kimmel Live Game Night show had 6.18 million viewers, which grew to 6.83 during the NBA Countdown just before the actual game started.

A total of 11.93 million viewers tuned in to watch San Antonio Spurs beat Miami Heat 111-92 to take a 2-1 lead in the series, making it the best watched show on the night.

Meanwhile, 6.61 million chose to watch a re-run of NCIS: Los Angeles at 9pm, while the 10pm airing of The Night Shift on NBC drew 6.93 million viewers.
