Monday Ratings: 24: Live Another Day wins the night

Monday's television ratings show a decrease for 24: Live Another Day although the FOX show continued to lead the night ahead of Hillary Clinton: Private and Public.

Re-runs competed with new episodes on Monday and the former actually won the battle between 8 and 9pm EST. CBS topped the rankings as 2 Broke Girls had 4.69 million viewers and Mom peaked at 4.6 million.

FOX came in second in the opening hour as MasterChef attracted 4.62 million viewers, followed by Last Comic Standing with just over four million spectators.

The Bachelorette, aired by ABC, came in fourth although the gap with NBC was less than 10,000 viewers.

The CW did well with Whose Line Is It Anyway, aired at 8:30, drawing just over one and a half million viewers.
The battle continued at 9pm as 24: Live Another Day (FOX) had 6.33 million viewers followed by Hillary Clinton: Private and Public (ABC) with 6.07 million.

American Ninja Warrior, aired by NBC between 9 and 11pm, attracted close to five million viewers.

At 10pm, most viewers switched from 24 to 48 Hours as the CBS show had 5.68 million viewers tune in.
