NBC was the big winner in Tuesday's ratings as America's Got Talent and The Night Shift dominated while ABC struggled.

Primetime kicked off with America's Got Talent on NBC, with 10.4 million viewers tuning in to the show's first hour. This amount increased to 12 million for the second hour.

From 10pm EST, The Night Shift topped the ratings with 7.15 million viewers, also taking away the night's top spots for viewers 18 to 49.

In the mean time, only CBS managed to keep up as NCIS attracted 8.6 million viewers and the 9pm EST rerun of NCIS: Los Angeles kept 7.6 million from finding something else to watch.

Person of Interest, CBS' last show of the night, had a total viewer amount of 5.7 million.

ABC struggled visibly as Extreme Weight Loss attracted only 4 million viewers in its second hour and the exact same rating for the season finale of Celebrity Wife Swap from 10pm.

FOX barely exceeded the one million barrier (Riot, 1.2 million) while the series premiere of Famous in 12 on The CW had just 728,000 viewers tune in.
