Fox Fall TV Monday Schedule: Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Almost Human
Aug 26 2013 07:51 am CET
Bones will lead off the Monday schedule followed by rookie series Sleepy Hollow. Later in the fall, futuristic cop procedural Almost Human will take over the Bones timeslot. Here's what Fox has in store for the start of the work week this season.
Bones (Season 9)
The video is NSFW—lots of innocent passers-by reacting to finding horribly mangled corpses. Well, except for the skydiver who has a corpse fall on top of him. Bones returns at 8pm on September 16.
Sleepy Hollow (NEW)
Fox is banking heavily on this adaptation of the Washington Irving story. Tom Mison plays Ichabod Crane, who has been resurrected and transported to modern-day New York. As if the fish-out-of-water angle wasn't enough, Crane's nemesis the Headless Horseman has also been resurrected. Oh, and he's one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Will this show be revolutionary? Find out at 9pm on September 16.
Almost Human (NEW)
This show will take over the 8pm slot later in November after Bones bounces over to Friday night (that's not speculation—Fox planned this move). There's no preview video yet or an official site for the show, but here's the gist: Karl Urban plays John Kennex, a cop in 2048 who just woke up from a coma after his police department was attacked. Along with his recently-attached bionic limb, he has a new bionic partner: an android with human emotion named Dorian (Michael Ealy). J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions is behind this program, so there's a 50-50 shot it could be successful or fly off the rails (successfully). Almost Human debuts November 4.
