This is what's on TV Wednesday, July 17, 2013.

The ESPY Awards

ESPN – 9pm LIVE – The annual sports kudofest enters its 21st year with host Jon Hamm. Former ESPN reporter, current Good Morning America host, and cancer survivor Robin Roberts will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. Also, Olympic performances get added to the sports mix this year, with women's all-around gymnastics champion Gabby Douglas up for multiple awards.

Wedding Island

TLC – 10pm – This new series follows a wedding planner who works on the island of Vieques, located near Puerto Rico. Along with high maintenance clients, there's the randomness that vendors add to the mix plus the occasional bad weather. The risk of destination weddings, right?

Nazi Mega Weapons

PBS – Check Local Listings – Given the hyperbole of the title, there are a handful of cable networks I would have guessed this show would appear on before guessing PBS. This military documentary series looks at the arsenal Germany worked with during World War II. Tonight's episode examines the Atlantic Wall and how it handled the D-Day invasion.
