May 15 2013 10:22 pm CET

The 2013 Eurovision Song Contest marches on with the live broadcast of the Second Semi-Final from Malmo, Sweden Thursday. Which 10 acts will complete the lineup for Saturday's final?

Here are the 17 countries competing in Tuesday's Semi-Final – click the links for reviews, and check out a video of all 17 entries in action:

Second Semi-Final, Thursday, May 16
1. Latvia
2. San Marino
3. FYR Macedonia
4. Azerbaijan
5. Finland
6. Malta
7. Bulgaria
8. Iceland
9. Greece
10. Israel
11. Armenia
12. Hungary
13. Norway
14. Albania
15. Georgia
16. Switzerland
17. Romania

Also voting in this semi-final will be France, Germany, and Spain. The juries voted during dress rehearsals Wednesday night and the home audience will vote during today's broadcast. For each country, all the entries (except their own) will get ranked by the juries and televoters. After combining those scores, the top ten entries will receive points. The ten countries with the most points from all participants will move on to Saturday's Final, though we won't know the rankings or the score breakdown until after the competition.

Here are my picks for which ten countries will advance (in alphabetical order):
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Malta, Norway, San Marino

Although I did well with my picks on Tuesday (8/10), these picks are even trickier than the first semi-final's. Switzerland tied for tenth place, so I would not be shocked to see them sneak into the Final. Romania could also be a dark horse, particularly since it landed the final position in the running order. However, Serbia did not advance from the last position on Tuesday, so nothing is guaranteed. Also, if FYR Macedonia does not advance (which I think is very likely), it will be the first time since 1985 that a representative from Yugoslavia failed to make the final. That should make televoting extra interesting on Saturday.

We'll find out what happens when the show begins at 2100 CET / 3pm Eastern / Noon Pacific. You can watch the show live online at the Eurovision Song Contest website.
