May 09 2013 08:32 pm CET

It's Panic Thursday, when bubble shows on the broadcast networks begin to learn their fates prior to next week's upfronts. CBS, The CW, Fox and NBC announced some of their housekeeping today.

CBS: Drama Criminal Minds will be returning for a ninth season. Two and a Half Men will also air another season. This brings the number of hours available on the schedule three-and-a-half. Good luck, pilots.

The CW: Bubble shows The Carrie Diaries and Nikita received orders for new seasons.

Fox: Friday drama Touch has been cancelled, but Kiefer Sutherland may not be out of a job. His previous series 24 is in talks for possible coming back for a limited run. Also, Randy Jackson has officially quit American Idol following rumors that the entire show will get overhauled.

NBC: NBC swung the ax hard, cutting rookie sitcoms 1600 Penn and Guys With Kids. Sophomore sitcoms Whitney and Up All Night will also be removed from the schedule. Drama Deception has also been cut loose by the network. As for good news, Parks and Recreation will be back for a sixth season.
