Fall 2012 gets into full swing tonight as ABC and CBS introduce their new slates for the season. Dancing With the Stars is back with an All-Star cast, CBS introduces Partners to its comedy block, and the CW concludes The LA Complex summer run. Here's what's on TV Monday.
Season 15 of Dancing With the Stars begins tonight with a cast of previous DWTS competitors. The All-Stars will take on either the cha-cha or the fox-trot in the first night of competition. Kirstie Alley, Emmitt Smith, Joey Fatone, Melissa Rycroft and Bristol Palin may have a slight advantage over the rest of the field as they will be with the same partners as their original seasons. The ballroom opens at 8pm, followed by the season premiere of Castle at 10pm.
Over on CBS, the Monday night comedy block has gotten a slight makeover. How I Met Your Mother returns at 8pm followed by the new show Partners at 8:30pm. This new sitcom from the creators of Will & Grace features a newish permutation of the gay/straight friendship dynamic. 2 Broke Girls takes over the 9pm slot while Mike & Molly hold down the fort at 9:30pm. Hawaii Five-0 returns for season three at 10pm.
Finally, the CW is holding off a little longer from debuting its fall shows until October. In the meantime, the netlet will finish out its summer broadcasting of The LA Complex with back-to-back episodes. The drama begins at 8pm.
