Big Brother 14 Thursday August 30 Live Eviction Coverage

Aug 30 2012 04:44 pm ET
Join TVLatest.com at 9pm for our live coverage of tonight's eviction on Big Brother 14. Dan managed to get himself off the block, putting Britney and Danielle at risk for eviction. Will Dan be able to save his former teammate or will Britney expose the Godfather?
This week was one of the craziest ever in the Big Brother house. First, Frank won HoH after narrowly escaping eviction twice in last week's Double Duty escapades. This week of safety was good news for the Houseguest because he lost his allies Mike and Ashley. Also, he finally got the chance to put up Dan for eviction alongside Danielle. However, before nominations Frank opened Pandora's Box, which made a second Veto available. Ian won the Veto, but Frank said he would put up Britney if Ian used it to save Dan.
Yesterday's episode began with the regular Power of Veto competition, which was basically a "who wants it the most?" contest. Frank had the competition in the bag, but disqualified himself when he gave Britney a hint in the last round. Jenn decided seven weeks was long enough to be a fly on the wall and decided to make a go of things at the end, winning the Power of Veto. Dan tried to win to save himself, even volunteering for 24 hours of solitary confinement. Although he couldn't save himself by winning the PoV, he came up with a master plan to get himself off the block. 1- have a DIY Funeral. 2 - End the funeral by telling Danielle "You're dead to me." 3 - Meet with Frank and sell out the Quack Pack (ugh) alliance. 4 - Ally with Frank and get him to propose the idea of having Jenn use the Veto on him. 5 - Put up Britney and leverage the sympathy for Danielle to get Britney out of the house.
The first four steps are done and now we have to wait and see if Britney or Danielle joins Ashley in the Jury House. Then a new Head of Household will be determined. Truth be told, I wasn't planning on liveblogging this tonight, but Rob Cesternino (Survivor alum and podcast host) mentioned that the show will be pre-empted in several markets due to football or the Republican National Convention. So join us here at 9pm for the excitement!
