Tuesday TV: America's Got Talent, Top Gear, Glee Project, The Week the Women Went

Tuesday's television features a healthy dose of reality. Top Gear and America's Got Talent are back to finish up the summer season, Lifetime sees what happens during The Week the Women Went, and The Glee Project names its winner(s). Here's what's on TV Tuesday.
First up, America's Got Talent is back. This is remarkably similar to what NBC was showing the last two Tuesdays, only instead of Americans demonstrating their skills in gymnastics, swimming, and sports, this will be two hours of people who did stuff on YouTube. I miss the Olympics already. Anyway, the live show begins at 8pm.
On the History channel, Top Gear returns for a third season. Tonight's premiere features various police car models and different driving challenges to test out cornering and high-speed chasing. If there's a 70's cop show soundtrack, I am so there. The show debuts at 9pm.
Also premiering tonight is the Lifetime social experiment The Week the Women Went. All the women in a small South Carolina town hang up the "Gone Fishin'" sign as cameras see how society copes. In the right hands, this could be a thought-provoking reality series. See if the right hands are in control at 10pm.
Finally, Oxygen's The Glee Project wraps its second season tonight at 10pm. Chris Colfer stops by as Ali Stroker, Aylin Bayramoglu and Blake Jenner battle it out for a chance to win a role on the Fox musical dramedy. Will all three get roles, or will the show actually pick a winner?
