Wednesday TV: Go On, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Mean Girls, Dallas

With the bulk of the Olympics completed, there is finally some television competition. NBC has a preview of Go On, ABC Family has Mean Girls, TLC takes a closer look at Honey Boo Boo, and Dallas ends its first season. Here's what's on TV Wednesday.
NBC is going to try to leverage the millions of eyeballs (some rolling, some not) from its Olympics coverage by offering a preview of the new comedy Go On. This show stars Matthew Perry as a radio sports guy who enters group therapy after his wife dies suddenly. The preview airs commercial-free after NBC's primetime coverage of the London Games, which could be anywhere from 10:30ish to 11:30ish.
Speaking of the Olympics, ABC Family will be airing the modern classic Mean Girls at 9pm. What does this have to do with sports? Perhaps the US Women's Gymnastics Team (via Buzzfeed) can fill you in. We wear pink on Wednesdays.
If you prefer your Mean Girls to be of the Toddlers & Tiaras persuasion, TLC has a new spin-off for you. Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, the 6-year-old pageant queen, has her own show called Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. I…look, if you're gonna watch, you're gonna watch, I can't stop you, but I don't have to approve. If you must watch, two episodes air starting at 10pm.
Finally, TNT's reboot of the drama Dallas wraps up its first season at 9pm. The slightly supersized episode features a health emergency bringing the Ewings together. Of course, if you have more than one Ewing in a room there are going to be secrets exposed. The show has been renewed for a second season.
