Tuesday TV: Deadliest Catch, Shipping Wars, Hard Knocks, Gymnastics finals

Tonight's television features the last gymnastics events at the London Olympics, the return of two cable series (Shipping Wars and Hard Knocks), and a recap of the most recent season of Deadliest Catch. Here's what's on TV Tuesday.
On the Olympics front, tonight's coverage features the final events in gymnastics. On the men's side, the individual events include the parallel bars and the horizontal bar. The women will close the show with the balance beam and floor exercise. Track and field races and a beach volleyball semi-final are also on the docket. NBC's primetime coverage begins at 8pm.
Over on cable, the job reality show genre has two notable entries. First, Discovery's Deadliest Catch will have a Season 8 retrospective debuting at 9pm. Meanwhile, A&E's Shipping Wars kicks off a second season, also at 9pm.
Finally, if you are getting antsy about football season, HBO may have some relief. Hard Knocks returns for a new season, this time visiting the training camp for the Miami Dolphins. The seventh season begins at 10pm.
