Big Brother 14 Week 1 Live Eviction Coverage

Jul 19 2012 03:33 pm ET
Join TVLatest.com at 9pm Eastern Thursday for the first Live Eviction of the Big Brother 14 season. Frank and Kara were placed on the block by Willie and one of them will become the first person voted out of the House.
The first eviction took place on last Thursday's premiere episode when Coach Dan was forced to send one of his players (Jodi) home after losing the Head of Household challenge. Oh yeah, there are four returning players who are coaches this season, guiding the 12 (now 11) houseguests through the game. Britney's team won the HoH competition and the Coach selected Willie Hantz as the first Head of Household for the season.
Sunday's episode featured the introduction of this year's HoH room as well as a new twist on nominations: Coaches' Competition Immunity. The four coaches competed in their own challenge, with the winner (Mike Boogie) selecting one of his team members (Ian) for Immunity from nomination for the week. This threw a small wrench in Willie's plan of dismantling Teams Mike and Dan, so he had to nominate Frank and Kara for eviction.
On Wednesday's episode, there is not much fallout from Willie's nominations. Mike started to overplay his hand with the other coaches who all took notice. Shane won the Power of Veto, which he declined to use after promising both nominees consideration while trying to avoid bad blood. Oh, and Ian can kick himself in the face.
Tonight: either Kara or Frank will be the first contestant voted out of the House in Big Brother 14's first live eviction. Our live coverage begins at 9pm Eastern. As you can see below, we are currently between liveblog interfaces. We hope to have the issue resolved next week so that we can bring back the conversation format. Until then, please enjoy our GoogleDoc experiment.
