Thursday TV: Duets, Big Brother, Project Runway, Sullivan & Son, Great Lake Warriors, Misfits

There is quite a bit of television tonight. Duets concludes, Big Brother evicts, Project Runway returns, and three shows make their debuts on cable. Here's what's on TV Thursday.

First up, ABC's singing competition Duets wraps up its season tonight. Will one of Jennifer Nettles' partners (J Rome or John Glosson) or (OMG IT'S) Kelly Clarkson's partner Jason Farol win the grand prize? Find out at 8pm.

Over on CBS, Big Brother 14 will have its first live eviction episode. A and B are on the block, but with the Britney/Janelle super-alliance in control, there may not be much mystery in who goes home. I will bring you live coverage starting at 9pm.

Also at 9pm is the 10th-season premiere of Project Runway on Lifetime. The night starts at 8pm with a special behind-the-scenes Road to the Runway, including clips about the 16 designers competing this season. The first challenge will feature a fashion show in Times Square, with Parenthood's Lauren Graham serving as a guest judge. Michael will have a full recap of the premiere.

In terms of brand new shows, there are two debuting on cable tonight. First, TBS has a new sitcom about a family's neighborhood bar called Sullivan & Son, premiering at 10pm with back-to-back episodes. Finally, History will debut Great Lake Warriors at 10pm. This show tracks the lives of tugboat operators in the Great Lakes. As long as the theme song isn't a dub-step version of "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald", the show should be worth checking out.

Finally, the UK sci-fi dramedy Misfits makes its US television debut on Logo at 10pm. This show is about a group of juvenile offenders who gain superpowers during a freak electrical storm while out on a community service job. The program has been available on Hulu, but tonight marks the first time the program has been available via commercial television.
