First, So You Think You Can Dance finally hits the competition phase. The Top 20 will pair up and take to the stage for audience votes. We also learn how the elimination process will work now that the show is on once-a-week. Tune in for the live performances at 8pm on Fox and check in with Michael's recap here!
The other major competition tonight is the 20th annual ESPY Awards on ESPN. The evening begins at 7pm with countdown coverage of the event at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The main event, hosted by Rob Riggle, begins at 9pm Eastern.
Over on ABC Family, Beverly Hills Nannies debuts at 9pm. This reality series follows the lives of nannies working for particularly demanding clients in super-posh Beverly Hills. Then at 10pm on TLC, you can catch the debut of Cheer Perfection. The show is basically Dance Moms, but with cheerleaders in Arkansas.
Finally, Ryan Phillippe joins the cast of Damages for the fifth and final season of the series. The central theme will be corporate and governmental transparency in a digital landscape. The season premiere airs on DirecTV Channel 239 at 9pm.
