Jul 09 2012 09:20 am ET

Tonight's television features a special Fear Factor, a Bizarre Foods extravaganza, The debuts of Perception and Opening Act, and the beginning of the final season of The Closer. Here's what's on TV Monday.

Tonight we have a few entries in the gross-out genre. First, NBC's Fear Factor is back with a new episode at 8pm. Over on the Travel Channel, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern celebrates 100 episodes at 8pm with bloopers and behind-the-scenes footage. The second season of Bizarre Foods America gets underway at 9pm with extreme eating in Las Vegas.

Over on TNT, it's the beginning of the end for The Closer at 9pm. Brenda starts the seventh/final season battling with Philip Stroh and jeopardizing her standing with the new district attorney. At 10pm, Eric McCormack returns to TV as a neuroscience professor with paranoid schizophrenia on Perception. He gets recruited by the FBI to help out with trickier, psychological cases.

Finally, E! begins its new series Opening Act at 10pm. On this show, people who have posted themselves singing on YouTube get surprised with the opportunity to be the opening act for a top-notch concert act. For example, tonight's victim participant gets the call and only five days to prepare to warm the crowd for Rod Stewart. No pressure.
