With temperatures reaching near 100-degrees in several places, it's a good night to sit in a cool room and watch TV. Duets goes live as Wipeout returns. BBC America gets ready for the Olympics while FX debuts its comedy block. Here's what's on TV Thursday.

ABC starts things off tonight with the first live episode of Duets at 8pm. At 9pm, you can catch the season premiere of Wipeout. The premiere features the return of Hotties vs. Nerds.

Over on BBC America, you can get ready for this summer's Olympic Games with the new series Twenty Twelve. This is not a documentary: it's a comedy of worst-case scenarios as the UK gets ready to host the world. Three episodes air tonight on BBC America starting at 9pm.

Finally, FX brings back the Thursday night comedy block with three big premieres. At 9pm, following two episodes of Two and a Half Men, is the series debut of Charlie Sheen's new show Anger Management. At 10pm is the second-season premiere of Wilfred, starring Elijah Wood. Then at 10:30pm is the long-awaited return of the brilliant series Louie.
