It is a big night of reality TV premieres. VH1 takes Love & Hip Hop to Atlanta, RuPaul is back to school on Drag U, Bravo introduces us to the women of Miss Advised, and we get to see if Glass House rips off from Big Brother. Here's what's on TV Monday.
First up, VH1's Love & Hip Hop franchise expands to the city of Atlanta. Much like the original series, this reality show follows the trials and tribulations of producers and their loved ones in the Atlanta music industry. The premiere airs at 8pm followed by a new episode of Single Ladies at 9pm.
Over on Logo, class is back in session with a new season of RuPaul's Drag U. Joining this year's faculty from Season 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race are Chad Michaels, Latrice Royale, Willam, and our current Queen Sharon Needles. Tonight's episode, featuring Latrice, Season 2's Jujubee and Season 3's Manila Luzon, debuts at 9pm.
Bravo puts a twist on its own format of "professionals" giving advice with the new series Miss Advised. This series follows three relationship experts who have trouble in their own love lives. If you think the show is a match for you, you can catch the premiere at 10pm.
Finally, ABC will open the doors to The Glass House tonight at 10pm. CBS was unsuccessful in securing a temporary restraining order for the show that bears similarity to its summer lockdown series Big Brother. Although there are similar elements, Glass House has more audience involvement plus multiple contestants over the age of 30 and who are people of color. Be on the lookout for my recap Tuesday morning.
