Wednesday TV: American Idol crowns a winner; ABC finales; Law & Order SVU

It's the end of the 2011-12 season! That means it is all season finales tonight on television. Law & Order SVU wraps up season 13, ABC's comedies and Revenge close up shop for the summer, and we learn who the new American Idol will be. Here's what's on TV Wednesday.
First up, ABC's slate is all finales. The Middle starts the night off at 8pm, with Modern Family and Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23 ending their seasons in the 9pm hour. Then at 10pm, will Emily Thorne (nee Amanda Clarke) finally achieve the Revenge she seeks?
Also at 10pm is the season finale of Law & Order: SVU. An underage escort is killed, sparking a battle between rival escort companies. If the murdered escort was of age, do you think there would be a story?
Of course, the big item tonight is on Fox, where we learn if Jessica Sanchez or Phillip Phillips is the next American Idol. Sadly, this will also be the last event that our intrepid recapper Kellee Knowles will be covering for TVLatest.
