Sunday TV: Desperate Housewives, Survivor One World, Sister Wives, Food Network Star
May 13 2012 10:06 am CET
If you thought last Sunday's schedule was crowded, tonight's television will require major DVR management. We find out who wins Survivor, catch up with the Sister Wives, meet the contestants of Food Network Star, and say goodbye to the Desperate Housewives.
The biggest of the big events tonight is the series finale of Desperate Housewives. The soap (though it classified itself as a comedy when up for Emmy consideration) was one of the top programs when it debuted in 2004. Drawing an average of over 23.6 million viewers its first season, the women of Wisteria Lane helped pull ABC out of its post-Millionaire rut. The two-hour finale begins at 9pm.
Also wrapping up tonight (for the season, not forever) is Survivor: One World. The women got rid of Tarzan, the last man standing, Wednesday, so it is going to make it extra awkward when Probst doesn't talk to women during the reunion. Find out if Kim, Chelsea, Sabrina, Alicia or Christina (SHE'S STILL THERE?!) wins the million on CBS starting at 8pm.
On the premiere front, two cable favorites are coming back tonight. On TLC, season three of the controversial Sister Wives airs at 9pm. Over on Food Network, 15 new hopefuls get the chance to learn that "we don't know the real" them as they try to become the winner of Food Network Star. The two-hour premiere begins at 9pm.
