American Idol Season 11 Top 5 Elimination Results Live Coverage
May 03 2012 03:02 pm CET

Join at 8pm Eastern for live coverage of tonight's American Idol results show. The Top 5 faced the challenge of three songs Wednesday: The 60's, British Pop and either a duet or trio. Who did America vote into the Final Four?

Hollie Cavanagh, the new Queen of the Bottom 3, opened Wednesday's show with "River Deep, Mountain High" and attempted "Bleeding Love" in the Brit Pop round to rave reviews. Phillip Phillips tempted fate by tinkering with "The Letter" and staying in the 60's vibe with "Time of the Season." Skylar Laine brought CCR to the party before offering her take on Dusty Springfield.

Jessica Sanchez did the obligatory performance of "Proud Mary" followed by the obligatory performance of "You Are So Beautiful." Joshua Ledet drew the showcloser spot with his interpretations of The Temptations and the Bee Gees.

Season 4 American Idol champ Carrie Underwood will be on stage performing her new single "Good Girl." Coldplay will continue the British Pop theme with a performance of "Paradise." Then we will find out which contestant will miss out on the Final Four with tonight's elimination. I will be subbing in for Kellee tonight, so please stop by and join the conversation!
