Friday TV: Chuck finale, Great Performances, Bering Sea Gold, Spartacus Vengeance
Jan 27 2012 08:58 am ET

Television is a rather somber affair tonight. Chuck airs its final episode, Amy Winehouse gives one of her final performances, Spartacus returns with a new lead actor, and we dig for gold in the Bering Sea. Here's what's on TV Friday.

First up, it's the end of the road for Chucksters as Chuck has his final mission tonight. The past five years comes to as Chuck must confront his nemesis Nicholas Quinn. The two-hour farewell begins at 8pm on NBC.

Tony Bennett's Duets II album is the subject of this week's Great Performances. This special also features one of the final performances by Amy Winehouse before her tragic death last year. The episode is scheduled for 9pm on PBS, but check your local listings.

Discovery has a new companion series for Gold Rush called Bering Sea Gold. This show follows four gold-digging crews who work in the frigid waters off the coast of Alaska. Catch the premiere at 10pm.

Finally, Starz begins a new chapter in the Spartacus saga with the series Spartacus: Vengeance. Liam McIntyre takes on the title role (following the untimely death of Andy Whitfield) in this sequel to Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The season premiere airs at 10pm.
