It's a big night of finales. The UK will learn which act wins its version of The X Factor, one couple will win the Amazing Race, HBO's Boardwalk Empire finishes its second season, and CNN honors everyday heroes. Here's what's on TV Sunday.

First up, the UK version of X Factor will crown its eighth winner tonight. Marcus Collins and girl group Little Mix are the final two acts. Voting will close during the show, which starts at 7:30pm GMT/2:30pm Eastern.

Also wrapping up tonight is the 19th season of The Amazing Race. Dating couple Jeremy/Sandy, engaged couple Ernie/Cindy and married couple Amani/Marcus will travel to Atlanta in the hopes of being the first team to land on the finish mat and collect $1 million. Michael will have the full recap later tonight. The show is scheduled to start at 8pm on CBS, but be aware that football may push back the start time.

Over on CNN you can catch the fifth annual CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute. Anderson Cooper will host the event that honors regular people who work to change the world. Some of the celebrities you'll see at the Shrine Auditorium include Kid Rock, Miley Cyrus, Sofia Vergara, Chris Colfer, JR Martinez, Kurt Warner and recent X Factor contestant Rachel Crow. The show starts at 8pm.

Finally, the second season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire comes to a close at 9pm. Nucky's trial is coming up, Jimmy considers his options, and Margaret figures out what to do about Esther's offer.
