Survivor South Pacific Recap: Taste the Victory

Stacey met with Christine and while the two were happy to see each other, they were both disappointed at having Coach mastermind the eliminations. I wouldn't have been shocked at all. If I was a player I'd assume that was either him or Brandon.
Upolu woke up with a tree mail about Redemption Island. Brandon was in tears because he was convinced he was a good person. If he was a good person, he probably wouldn't have signed up for the show. Albert and Mikayla went with Dawn and _some blonde. Stacey pointed out to the "red tribe" that "Benjamin" is taking over the whole tribe. I like Stacey's rolling eyes and attitude because it was hysterical. The challenge was the concentration ball puzzle which was used in Tocantins, Coach's season.
The girls started and while one ball was timed, the spacing and timing of the release was the issue. Stacey decided to be reactive instead of timing things out right like Christine and eventually it was her downfall. She was happy to push herself to her limits. Christine survived another day and headed back to Redemption. Albert was now upset that he was placed as a pawn in the game.
When Albert and Mikayla returned, Albert admitted to Coach how Stacey went on a funny Benjamin rampage. Coach was feeling horrible. On the other side, Savaii Elyse was feeling great because she liked hanging on the coattails of Ozzy. Cochran arrived with some wood and pointed out how he's trying his best at camp. Ozzy had the balls to ask Cochran how to spell his name.
Dawn and blonde arrived and announced everything that Stacey vomited out. Ozzy then pointed out that Coach should get rid of Albert soon. Soon Jim realized that he would be Albert in this equation and needed to tell that other pretty boy on the tribe.
Albert was afraid that he was a threat now that Stacey spilled the beans. He decided to wander around in his underwear to look for the clue. Albert and his good body found a clue and it got him to trees that got wet with tide. He decided to tell Coach and Sophie in hopes to keep the group trust. Coach decided to take the situation in his own hands and look for the clue himself. After a few seconds of looking, he decided to pray and found the idol. Interestingly, he pulled the idol out of what looked like his bra in the interview. He was so excited that his dragon was pinging.
Cochran was nervous about trying to fish with Ozzy in hopes that he'd be bonding with Ozzy. Ozzy admits that fishing is really hard because of cutting himself and holding his breath. Cochran realized that while Ozzy was spiteful in his earlier seasons, he's showing his age.
The tribes arrived at the immunity challenge and saw two spitfire pigs. The tribes would have to rip off meat with their teeth and they would weigh the stuff after 10 minutes. The winners would get veggies, spices, and bread.
I'm not sure exactly what the strategizing would be for the show, other than where everyone wanted to stand. The challenge ended up looking like a vomit show, with the weird pig camera angle and the vomit cam. There were several moments where people had to bite food off of each other. Luckily the time ran out quickly with editing. Jeff weighed Savaii and they had 22 pounds, 12 ounces. Upolu had 22 pounds, but won with 14 ounces. The contestants managed got to keep the spit covered meat. Yum. Brandon cooked up the good and they had a great time eating.
The time finally came where Jim could make some moves. Cochran joked around about how everyone has Herpes and tried to give a coconut to a girl. Ozzy thought that it was too late for Cochran. Dawn realized that it's time to break the alliance; she talked to Cochran about Elyse. Cochran talked to Jim and now all Jim has to do was get Keith. Jim talked to Keith about the Coach/Albert equation and both realized that Elyse needs to go. Keith had a dumb moment where Ozzy was afraid he'd lose trust. I don't think it matters. Keith talked to the blonde and they thought about Elyse and Cochran's usefulness. They thought interestingly to both vote a random name.
At tribal, Ozzy tried to point out that merging was too early. Elyse tried to explain that someone was both physically and mentally strong would be the most useful player. Cochran explained that this week's challenge was the hardest. The contestants admitted to having issues with the challenge because of physical pain. Dawn knows that Cochran is a character, but she learned how to be humble. In the end Elyse admitted that Cochran is useless and Jim admitted to being too strategic.
Jim voted "Lys" and did anyone notice that Ozzy was muted for saying trying to say "Cock-train"? I love FCC regulations. The votes went down 3-2-2 where the votes split between Cochran and Dawn, but Elyse was sent packing. I guess the Native American spirits weren't calling her. It was nice to see that the blonde and Keith realized that they didn’t necessarily have to be the hand that eliminated Elyse.
Next Week: Coach is having Russell flashbacks and Ozzy pouted like a baby. Maybe he’d play smart and use the hidden immunity idol correctly next week.
