Monday TV: More Fall Premieres – Terra Nova, Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, Mike & Molly

This week starts off a little less hectic than last week with the shows that couldn't fit into last Monday's schedule. Two new shows are accompanied by two returning programs. Here's what's on TV Monday.

First up, the other big buzz show this season comes from Fox. Terra Nova is about a group from Earth's dismal future traveling to the prehistoric past to rebuild humanity. If you have to go back to before when humanity existed, how bad did we screw up? I guess we'll find out in the two-hour premiere, tonight at 8pm.

Over on the CW, Gossip Girl returns at 8p for its fifth season. The action has moved to LA as Elizabeth Hurley joins the cast. Following at 9pm is the series debut of Hart of Dixie. Rachel Bilson stars as a recent New York med school grad (yes, her last name is Hart and, yes, she's a heart surgeon) who finds herself in Alabama. Though heavy on the clichés, this is the CW's flagship show this season, so we'll see if the marketing pays off.

Finally, Mike & Molly returns to the CBS comedy lineup at 9:30pm. Melissa McCarthy has an Emmy in tow and Two and a Half Men is stronger than ever in the ratings, so this could be a huge debut for the sophomore sitcom.
