Who's News Tuesday: Kevin Smith, Franklin & Bash, Kelly Cuoco

In other news Tuesday: Kevin Smith wants to enter the talk show game, Franklin & Bash have another reason to high five, and Kelly Cuoco has lined up a pretty good hosting gig.
First up, Vulture is reporting that Kevin Smith (Clerks, Red State) has a half-hour talk show in the works. According to the article, the show will be a mix of talk and comedy targeting the 12-34 demographic. If picked up for syndication, the goal is to pair it with the gossip program TMZ.
TNT is more than satisfied with the antics from Franklin & Bash: the show has been picked up for a second season. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, one of the stars of the fratty lawyer program, broke the news on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. Season 2 has a 10 episode order and will likely return in 2012.
Finally, Fox announced Kelly Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory) as the host of this year's Teen Choice Awards. The event, which is a helpful barometer of what the kids are watching/listening to, will air live Sunday, August 7.
