The CW renews five shows for Fall 2011
The CW announced on Tuesday it has renewed five shows for next season: four dramas and America's Next Top Model for both fall and spring.
The dramas that are guaranteed to come back in the fall include the Monday night slate of 90210 and Gossip Girl, the network's top show The Vampire Diaries, and Friday night cult hit Supernatural. The fall cycle of America's Next Top Model will feature a cast of former contestants trying again to become the newest Tyra Banks protege.
Awaiting news of survival are veteran drama One Tree Hill and rookies Hellcats and Nikita. Smallville will air its series finale next month.
