Tuesday Ratings: Glee leads Fox to win; ABC lineup dwindles

Fox narrowly beat CBS on Tuesday, thanks to Glee. NCIS was the most-watched show of the night. NBC saw some dips in the ratings, but they aren't in as much trouble as ABC's lineup.
Fox took the top spot with 'Glee' taking top show honors. The Valentine's day episode scored a 4.5 with just under 11.5 million viewers. No Super Bowl bump here -- this was the third-lowest rated new episode of the season. 'Raising Hope' returned with a 2.8, which is on par for the season. Unfortunately, 'Traffic Light' didn't shine, scoring only a 1.9 with 4.59 million viewers.
CBS landed in a close second, thanks to another strong 'NCIS' performance. The most-watched show of the night (20.3 million) scored a 4.2 (-0.4). 'NCIS: Los Angeles' won the middle hour with a 3.5 (-0.3) and over 17 million viewers. 'The Good Wife', featuring guest star Michael J. Fox, scored a 2.2 (flat) with 11.82 million and won the late hour.
NBC finished third with both programs down from last week. 'The Biggest Loser' averaged a 3.0 (-0.3) and lost about a million viewers from last Tuesday. 'Parenthood' had a similar audience drop, giving the show a 1.9 rating (-0.3).
ABC was the big loser Tuesday night as all three shows continue to flounder. 'No Ordinary Family' tied a series-low of 1.5 (-0.3, three weeks) and hit an audience low of 5.24 million. 'V' was up slightly from last week with a 1.8 (+0.1), but also turned in a small audience of 5.39. 'Detroit 1-8-7' closed the night with a 1.3 (+0.1) and was flat audience-wise. ABC spin will be able to call it the highest-rated episode of 2011, if that's any consolation.
