CBS Announces Midseason Schedule

Dec 21 2010 11:14 pm ET

The final major network midseason schedule was announced Tuesday as CBS unveiled its list of shufflings (Blue Bloods, Rules of Engagement, The Defenders) and premieres (Chaos and Mad Love).

Fans of 'Blue Bloods' will want to pay attention because the show will be bouncing around in a move that is intended to boost the show rather than bury it. On January 19, the rookie cop drama will take over the Wednesday 10pm slot ('The Defenders' will be moving to Fridays). 'Blue Bloods' will keep the timeslot warm until February 16 when 'Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior' premieres. Then 'Blue Bloods' will move back to its Friday timeslot.

Here is the complete rundown of important dates on the schedule:

•Tuesday, January 4: 'Live to Dance' premieres
•Wednesday, January 5: 'Live to Dance' assumes normal Wednesday timeslot
•Wednesday, January 19: 'Blue Bloods' at 10pm
•Friday, January 21: Series Finale of 'Medium'
•Friday, February 4: 'The Defenders' moves to 8pm
