CBS and NBC were the only networks to have new programming Tuesday evening. As a result the networks split the victories and both had shows scoring a 4.0.

'NCIS' was the most watched show Tuesday with 19.78 million viewers. The procedural easily won the 8pm hour with a 4.0 (+0.1, 3 weeks). At 9pm, 'NCIS: Los Angeles' had its largest audience of the season: 16.76 million viewers. The episode scored a 3.2, the same as its last new episode 3 weeks ago. The strong lead-in gave 'The Good Wife' a boost to 11.71 million viewers, but remained flat with 2.1.

NBC started the night with a holiday themed 'Minute to Win It'. The show rose quite a bit from last week's season premiere, scoring a 2.3 (+0.4). The biggest mover this week was 'The Biggest Loser'. The live two-hour finale brought in over 11 million viewers and averaged a season high 4.0 (+0.9).

The other networks featured repeat programming. Fox came in third, thanks to a double dose of 'Glee'. Univision landed in fourth, beating fifth-place ABC in 18-49 and total viewers.
