Tuesday Ratings: ABC a winner with Dancing; Glee drops sharply

The Dancing with the Stars finale gave ABC a huge win in both total viewers and 18-49 Tuesday. Oddly, most programs opposite held steady. The big loser Tuesday was...Glee? How did that happen?
'Glee' was the top program at 8pm on Tuesday as well as the number two program of the night. However, it scored a season-low 4.0 (-1.0) and an audience low of 10.38 million. 'NCIS' held steady with a 3.9 while 'No Ordinary Family' went up a tick to 1.8 (+0.1). Perhaps the 18-49 set DVR'd last night's episode, because those viewers didn't go elsewhere.
As for 'Dancing with the Stars', the finale averaged a 5.3 with an audience of over 24 million. The audience peaked in the final half hour with a 6.0 and 26.42 million people tuning in to see Jennifer Grey claim victory. This was the highest rated episode of the show's fall season, beating the September premiere (5.0, 21 million).
Despite the monster numbers for DWTS, other programs did not feel much of an effect. 'Raising Hope' was down to a low of 2.4 (-0.3), but that was more likely caused by 'Glee'. 'NCIS' (3.2) and 'The Good Wife' (2.1) both lost 0.1 and a million viewers. 'Parenthood' scored a 1.9, up from last week's 1.8.
The makeover episode of 'The Biggest Loser' scored a 2.4 (-0.1), which is on par with three of the last four weeks.
