Report: AT&T U-Verse drops Hallmark Channel

Broadcasting & Cable reported early Wednesday that AT&T has pulled the Hallmark Channel group off of its U-Verse service.
This marks yet another carriage dispute between cable networks and cable service providers.
"We offered to extend the current deal while talks continued, and Hallmark rejected that offer," said AT&T, according to B&C. Hallmark blames AT&T for refusing to reach a deal.
Current AT&T U-Verse subscribers will find free previews of Starz Kids & Families and Turner Classic Movies on the channels previously occupied by Hallmark and the Hallmark Movie Channel.
Along with made for TV movies, Hallmark's current slate includes reruns of 'Little House on the Prairie', 'Golden Girls', 'Who's the Boss', 'M*A*S*H' and 'I Love Lucy'. There do not appear to be any event programs on the horizon that would accelerate the negotiating process.
