'Real Housewives' ratings, renewals, and a new franchise

Tuesday is quickly becoming 'Real Housewives' Appreciation Day at Bravo.
First, last night's 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' reunion special brought in 3.9 million viewers. That is Bravo's largest audience for a single telecast this season.
Second, the cast for the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', the sixth entry in the franchise, was announced Tuesday morning. Included are Kelsey Grammer's ex-wife Camille and Kyle Richards, an actress who has appeared on 'E.R' and 'Little House on the Prairie' who is also Paris Hilton's aunt.
Third, word came out this afternoon that both the 'New Jersey' franchise and 'New York' franchise have been renewed for another season. The only gray cloud for Bravo is that Bethenny Frankel has decided not to return for RHONY's fourth season.
'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' will debut October 14.
