Mercy and Trauma join Law & Order on NBC's axe list

There will be two medical dramas less next season as NBC has axed both 'Mercy' and 'Trauma'.

On a day of many renewals and cancellations, Mercy and Trauma unfortunately join the latter group, as NBC announced that it won't order any new episodes for the two shows.

Mercy has been struggling on Wednesday nights with their rating among viewers in the 18-49 age group falling to just 1.0 recently.

Trauma was cancelled earlier this season but NBC decided to order another few seasons when it became clear that 'The Jay Leno Show' would not work out.

The two shows join long-running Law & Order, of which the cancellation was officially confirmed on Friday.
